Ralf Rangnick ‘did not like’ Man Utd’s efficiency at Newcastle ‘in any respect’

Manchester United interim supervisor Ralf Rangnick admitted he “did not like” the efficiency of his gamers within the 1-1 draw with Newcastle.

The Pink Devils have been laboured for a lot of the sport at St James’ Park, and have been indebted to an outstanding late save from David de Gea – one which salvaged a degree from a sport that Newcastle will really feel they need to have received on the steadiness of play.

United struggled to place the Magpies, who’re within the relegation zone and low on confidence, below any sort of sustained strain, with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford all struggling to get a foothold within the sport.

After the ultimate whistle, Rangnick admitted to Sky Sports activities that he was fairly unimpressed together with his gamers – and easily mentioned they need to do higher.

“No, I did not prefer it in any respect,” the German mentioned. “We have been attempting to get higher at controlling video games. Immediately we didn’t management the sport, aside from only a few moments, in any respect. It was all about power, about physicality, and who wins the second balls.
