Watch – Wanindu Hasaranga’s Brilliant Googly Castles Jitesh Sharma For 9

Star Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) leg-spinner Wanindu Hasaranga castled Punjab Kings (PBKS) batter, Jitesh Sharma, in the 60th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 on Friday, May 13 at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.

With the wicket of Jitesh Sharma, wrist spinner Hasaranga equalled Rajasthan Royals (RR) leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal’s tally of 23 wickets and now he is the joint highest wicket-taker in the Indian Premier League 2022.

Jitesh came out to bat after skipper Mayank Agarwal’s wicket and he was able to score only 9 runs off 5 balls, including 2 fours, before getting dismissed on the 2nd ball of the 17th over.

Meanwhile, Hasaranga delivered a googly to the PBKS batter and Jitesh was unable to pick it and he came down the track to smash the ball but he was beaten in the air and the ball slid under the bat and went on to destroy the stumps.

Hasaranga gave away only 15 runs in his 4-over quota in the high-scoring encounter and was able to bag two huge wickets for RCB.

Liam Livingstone Plays Aggressively After Jonny Bairstow’s Dismissal To Help Punjab Kings Score Quick Runs vs RCB

Punjab Kings were off to a flying start in the match as Jonny Bairstow destroyed the RCB bowling unit and in the 4th over itself, Punjab Kings completed the 50 runs tally.

In the 5th over, Maxwell dismissed opener Dhawan for 21 while conceding 10 runs and pacer Mohammed Siraj got smashed for 23 runs in the 6th over. At the end of the powerplay, Punjab Kings were at 83/1.

Opener Jonny Bairstow’s sensational innings was brought to an end by spinner Shahbaz Ahmed in the 10th over. Bairstow smashed 66 runs off 29 balls, including 4 fours and 7 sixes.

For the 4th wicket, Liam Livingstone and Mayank Agarwal had 51 runs partnership in 35 balls before the latter was dismissed for 19 by Harshal Patel’s slower bouncer in the 15th over.

At the time of writing, Punjab Kings were at 205/6 in 19 overs and Livingstone was batting exceptionally well.
